Temples were devoted to connecting and communing with the Divine
in sexual ecstasy... Rituals were performed involving all the senses:
They ate Sacred plants [magic mushrooms,lotus leaves...] opening the "God spot" in the brain.
They {trance-} danced, they masturbated, and they had communal [group] sex.
Our ancestors worshipped the icons of Yoni and Phallus for thousands of years.
